MMPI Communities of Practice
Collaborative communities focused on mutual respect and support
Introducing: Community of Practice- Ghana (CoP-G)
What is a Community of Practice?
Here's how it works:
A Community of Practice (CoP) is a group of people who come together to discuss a specific issue or problem as a mutually supportive team. While the group is made up of people who share a common purpose, group members often have varying degrees of training and different experiences, making each member's contributions unique and valuable.
MMPI is pleased to announce the formation of our first CoP, designed for Ghana's pediatric OTs. Our goal is to create a supportive and collaborative place to develop OT practice skills and to explore ways to expand culturally relevant pediatric OT practice in Ghana.
CoP-Ghana meets for presentations on the 3rd Saturday of February, April, June, August, and October for 1.5-2.5 hours.
- Our next meeting will be Saturday, April 20 at 4 pm GMT. Each meeting begins with a 75 – 90 minute presentation on a topic of interest to the group. Following the presentation, there will be an open question and answer session followed by breakout groups.
- The small groups will keep the same members and each group will set their own schedule for meetings as they choose.
- There is no charge for being a member of the CoP but you do need to register for each meeting so we can send you a link to the event.
