Understanding Interventions and Therapies in a Montessori Setting
This 3-part course provides essential information to prepare participants to collaborate with specialists to support children with sensory-motor delays, dyslexia and other language learning challenges and Autism. This unique course provides participants with background medical information about these 3 common areas of need for children, as well as a framework for thinking about how to work together with specialists to implement adaptions recommended by the specialists. This type of collaborative work offers children more individualized supports and makes Classical Montessori works more accessible to them.

Developed in 2019, in collaboration with Europe’s leading Montessori Inclusion experts. You choose an Early Intervention or Elementary focus. This 83 hour course offers participants information on the medical underpinnings of developmental challenges and deepens their understanding of the role of the psychologist in supporting children, parents and teams. In addition, 50% of the content addresses practical classroom strategies for meeting the needs of all students by adapting lessons and materials using Dr. Montessori’s scientific medical lens.
